In October 2010, the Climate CoLab will launch the first in a series of annual online contests.
Each year, the contest will address a key aspect of the climate change challenge.
In 2010, teams of people from all over the world are invited to to develop proposals that address the question: What international climate agreements should the world community make?
The contest will have two rounds and run until November 26.
There will be at least two winners: one for the proposal that receives the most votes from Climate CoLab members and another for the proposal deemed best by the judges.
And more winners may be named if there are additional proposals of high quality.
The Climate CoLab project staff is arranging briefings for relevant policy makers about the winning proposals. Events confirmed so far include:
The Climate CoLab team will support travel by at least one representative from each winning team to one or more of these policy briefings.
